Our return and refund window lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return, your item must be unused, unmarked, and in the same condition in which it was received. Books must be returned in their original packaging or with all original components (such as dust jackets).

Non‑Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Digital books or downloadable content
  • Gift cards
  • Books marked as final sale or clearance
  • Any item not in its original condition (damaged, stained, written in, or missing pages not due to our error)

Partial Refunds

In some situations, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Books with obvious signs of use
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Items damaged or missing parts for reasons not caused by In The Forefront

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding the approval or denial of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original method of payment within a standard processing period determined by your bank or card issuer.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company—posting times may vary.
  3. Contact your bank—processing delays are common.

Sale Items

Only regularly priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale or discounted items are final sale and cannot be refunded.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a store credit for the value of the return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed or mailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, the refund will be issued to the gift giver.
